Christopher "Demise" Mansion

Biography

Christopher Mansion, football player turned musician/poet/rapper, began his music career as a guitarist for a garage band called "Heaven In A Blaze" in 2005. Since then, hes dabbled in producing music with programs like Guitar Pro and joined the Poetry Club at Huntington Park High School. In 2007, he began making recordings in his closet with a group of friends. They called themselves "The Pow Wow." Taking time to learn to use music editing programs like Audacity, Garageband, and Abelton Live, Christopher began recording songs on his own. It was at this time he adopted the name "Dr. Demise," from the underground song "Your F*ckin' Head Split" by New York rapper Necro.

It wouldn't be until mid 2009, Dr. Demise had his first onstage, live performance in his own backyard for a large 4/20, Hip-Hop party. After that, Dr. Demise began work with an old highschool friend turned producer known as Giovanny "Gio Graves" Torres. Here he would come to make connections with "Iron Lung Movement" which would split into "Dark Ghost Klan" and "East Of The River Crew" and Mike Breezy aka Too BIG. Soon enough, Dr. Demise began making his own beats and producing his own music. Not only in Hip-Hop, but in EDM, Punk, and Reggae/Ska.

Later on, in 2015, he would meet David "G Hippy" Lopez at The Blvd in East Los Angeles, during a show. Shortly after becoming good friends, G Hippy and Dr. Demise would form a duo called "Yellowcake." They would go on to make their first mixtape called, "Verses In Da Versa", produced and engineered by Yellowcake themselves. This mixtape features artist like, The Decepticons, King Klyde, and Mike Breezy. Dr. Demise also would work on solo projects like "Nothing New" which can be found on Spotify and Youtube.

On a mission to team up with local artist, Dr. Demise, G Hippy, King Klyde, Black Realz, DRange Live, and other artist sprinkled in the the Los Angeles county began making plans for a collective of artist in different mediums called "One Mission One Team." Although disbanded as a collective, these artist still share stages at different events, and through that, Dr. Demise met "Lady-Bugg-With-2-G's" who would soon become his management. With LadyBuggWith2G's as his representation, Dr. Demise changed his title to just "Demise".

Demise is influence by, Rap, Rock, Metal, Punk, Funk, and RnB. Born in 1990 and raise in the streets of Los Angeles, Demise has always found peace in music and entertainment. Eminem, Necro, The Beatles, J. Cole, The Misfits, Taking Back Sunday, Kendrick Lamar, Beethoven, Borgore, and The Black Dahlia Murder, are, just to name a few, large influences on Demise and his music.

Now attending The Los Angeles Recording School for his Associates in Music Production, Demise has released a few singles recorded in the Recording School studios. Apart of LadyBuggWith2G's "The Coast Connection" and the founder of "The Blueline District", Demise is looking to conquer Los Angeles' music scene, one venue at a time.
